7 Weeks: Spotting and Some Back Pain

I am 7 weeks tomorrow and we just saw our baby's heartbeat for the first time last week. All my blookwork has come back excellent but I have suffered a miscarriage before so I am always so worried.
After a transvaginal ultrasound (TVU) 2 weeks ago, I had some spotting, which I was told was normal.
I had a second TVU 5 days ago and I have been spotting ever since. My spotting has varied in color from light tan to a tinted pinkish color. Today it is a light caramel color, no bad smell.
I swear I am feeling some lower back pain as well, but it's dull and doesn't really bother me. I can feel pulling, twinges and a heavy feeling in my uterus.

Is this normal or should I be concerned??

THe spotting could be caused by the ultrasound for sure and since its turning brownish/tan, it soundsl ike old blood...

If the dull back pain isnt bothering you then chances are its just pregnancy aches....  twinges and pulling is normal for sure..

ALl things to mention to your doctor and if your blood turns bright red, you should go get seen for sure...

Im always a bit weary around spotting as its all I had when I had my miscarriage but more often than not, if its just spotting its normal...  You can always contact your doctor and they can do another scan if it will put your mind at ease....  EIther way, try to take it easy for now, rest, put your feet up, dont do anything strenous or heavy until the spotting stops.. no reason to over do it

all of that sounds like  normal feelings during pregnancy, and because the bleeding is decreasing not getting heavier and was following the TVU doesnt throw up any red flags so far, the dicomfort too is normal as your body is changing so much, if you start having heavy cramps and are bleeding a lot then i would be concerned, but so far you sound pregnant! try not to stress too much as that isnt good for you...  if you are stressing and just need some reasurance, that IS a good enough reason to see and talk to your Dr... sometimes we need that (especially after you have experienced a MC, you are allowed to be scared... but try not to focus on it, you need to think positive thoughts for this baby, and like you said youve had nothing but good results from the bloodwork ans ultrasound)

Good luck and Congrats!!
