8 Weeks pregnant Fetus with no heartbeat

My last period was May 29th, which makes me 8 wks pregnant, I'm spotting since saturday a light brown color, I went to the dr on Tuesday July 22 and did a u/s you could see the fetus, but the doctor says there is no heartbeat.

He said to wait that I would eventually miscarriage sometime in the next couple of days. I don't know what to believe, I don't have any cramping only once in a while a little pain. This is my second miscarriage in one year.

I have an appoitment on July 31st, he said if I didn't miscarriage by this day, he will give me something that will make me miscarriage in 24 hrs.

My hubby and I are very upset but optimistic that maybe since I was only 7 weeks the heartbeat will be found in my 8 or 9 week

I don't know if I should tell him that I want another u/s.

Please help me.

I just had a scan and it measured 8w2d and no heartbeat :( I keep hoping the are wrong as I took a pregnancy test 8w 1d ago and that was negative so I keep wishing they have the dates wrong and it's not so far gone so that there might be a chance a beat could develop. If they are right it must have died in the last day or so otherwise it wouldn't have grown to 8.2 w?? I haven't had any signs of mc not even spotting no real morning sickness so don't know why the baby has gone. I have a tilted uterus so that had to use an internal ultrasound. No bloods or anything else has been done. I now have to make the decision if I want to let nature take it's course or a dnc . I feel numb and want someone to tell me they're wrong.

My wife had a Ultra Sound Scanning on 7th week (exactly 6 week and 2 days) and there was no heart beat and as per doctor the sac had normal growth. She advised us to have another scan after 2 weeks to ensure what is actually happening. We had terrible two weeks and finally we went today for the UC and there it is !!! there we found fetal heart beat and doctor said everything is normal. Doc was saying probably the ovulation was late and that could be the reason we couldnt detect a heart beat on 7th week. I share this news for all who had a scan on the seventh week and found no heart beat and waiting for their next scan. I had told my wife to be positive during this period and not to get panic but i know that she was in full of tension. So to everyone who didnt find a heart beat in 7th week pls dont get desperate and wait for a good news in your next scan.
