what would you do if you were in my position?

I had 1 ultrasound at 20 weeks, this ultrasound was very blurry, you couldn't even see my baby's nose. The only other option is to pay $150 for a 3d ultrasound. I'm not sure how much my baby weighs and if he is developing correctly. I am curious to see his features. What would you do in my position? I only have 7 weeks and 4 days until i have him.

Im from Australia also, when I paid for a 3D ultrasound, pics etc they told me its purely for the enjoyment of seeing the baby and having something to keep.. They said any medical things they werent trained for and cant give any answers, im not sure if that would include measuring the baby & general development. But it may also be different where you are from.. Also if you have only 7 weeks left theres a high chance your babies head is down and wont be able to see its cute lil face.

I'm in Australia and I have my 20 week scan tomorrow and my doc said I will also probably have one at 32 weeks. This is just his recommendation. Not all doctors want to do a 32 week scan.  I've also got a 3d scan booked for when I'm 27 weeks. If there was any issues in the scan your doctor would have sent you for more testing. So I would say everything is ok and just enjoy the last little bit of your pregnancy :))

You would think your Dr would of had another one done since you were going through all those seizures to check on your little guy :/ I have had multiple u/s due to my daughters heart but honestly if I hadn't of paid for one we would of never found out about it so I'm really happy I paid for an extra scan and I'm not trying to scare you at all I promise I only had one u/s with my son and all turned out great...I wish you the best in whatever choice you decide to make :))

Last time i seen my little guy was 19w. I'm 28 now so not that long ago but i doubt I'll get another one i haven't asked my doctor yet. But even if i don't i won't be paying to see him again. Lol I'm very impatient so i know how you feel darlin. You only have 7weeks left! That's not long at all! It'll be an even bigger surprise when you finally have him and get to see all his features! The day is coming dear (: it'll be here soon

you have to understand that the ultrsound is to check the health of the baby. not to give you a clear view of your babys face. at 33 weeks you would be running low on fluid and positioning could be a problem

I'm from the US and i complained to my doctor and he said that the baby's measurements were normal. I just wonder how he has grown, what he looks like, how much he weight and just stuff like that. I think that paying that much is too much so i guess i will have to be patient :(

My last ultrasound was at 20 weeks, im from australia and they dont do any more unless they think something is medically wrong. So I personally wouldn't do anything. But you could always ask your doctor if you can have one.
