Well I wish the case was that im not as far as i think but that is was the dr said based on a ultrasound so most likely its pretty close to exact. Im really sorry to hear your outcome I keep thinking that based on the way my dr reacted that i myself am heading in for a miscarriage. Just wondering did they put you on any progesterone supplements to raise your levels and what was your heartbeat when you went for an ultrasound and how far were you when you had the ultrasound? You did however mention that it is most likely to pass which leads me to hope that you still have a chance to have a good outcome I will keep you in my thoughts I never knew how hard and lonely going through all this felt till i myself had to deal with it. Good Luck.
Thank you for your story it definately gives me a glimmer up hope just a few questions you said you had the same problem as me by that do you mean the underdeveloped gestational sac and if so how long did it take to catch up? Also, recently i have started to have a little brown blood dr said it was normal im just puzzled by the whole thing. Just wondering you said you were on progesterone for a few weeks did your body start to take off afeter then and produce enough on its own? Thanks again for taking the time to write me your uplifting story.
well my news is bad news and i'm sorry your going through the stress of worrying i'm over 7wks and my baby is measuring fine but my hcg levels were low and i was told i would lose it I hoped with the baby growing good and having a strong heartbeat would mean i would carry it but when i went 2 days after the 1st u/s the baby's hb was down to 30 and its more then likely going to pass I wish you luck. maybe your jsut not as far as you think
It really depends on how well your body adjusts and if they give you the right amount of progesterone in time. I had the same problem around 7-8 weeks and turns out my progesterone was also low so my doc put me on progesterone suppositories 3x's a day until I hit 10 weeks and I am now 31.5 weeks pregnant. If your baby has a heartbeat and it is a healthy rate (and 175 is great!) then there is a better chance that the prometrium will help the growth =) I would say relax and try not to worry too much (even though it is super hard I know) and is your doctor going to retest your progesterone levels?
