I agree with both of the above comments. Push clear liquids like water, juice, gatorade etc. Salty foods are infamous for causing water retention, that's something my doc is CONSTANTLY telling me...stay away from the salt. Craving less than healthy foods is normal and its ok to indulge just do it in moderation. Make sure the rest of your meals/snacks are healthy ones.
I agree. To add on to that....I would say cut down on very salty snacks....I know they look and taste sooo good but that will make you retain even more water. Before eating maybe have a glass of water first....that'll curb away your craving or make you eat less than what you would be snacking on if it's not as healthy for you.
You may be retaining a lot of water. How much water do you normally drink? You have to drink double of what the normal requirement is. The more water you drink, the more you will flush out. Try eating lots of fruits, your sugar maybe dropping which is very common in early pregnancy, so eating fruits are going to give you the good sugars, but your body recognizes sugar, and that may help with some of the cravings you are having. If not allow yourself a couple snacks a day of sweets but get the low cal snacks, or as healthy as you can go! Also, if you are feeling good, and not to fatigued, and sick, try and walk as much as you can... walking is a good exercise and will help with burning off all of those calories!! =)
