Low Beta

My first Beta was only 84 and they say that I am 4w 5d. Does this number seem really low? I had a IUI done on the 2nd of May and my first beta was taken on the 17 of May. I'm kind of worried I have my second Beta tomorrow. Anyone experience this? Please help

If the numbers are increasing you don't have to worry, it's not so much about how high or how low they are as long as they are doubling.  Try to relax and enjoy this awesome experience.  Congrats and Good luck!

So when I went in for my 7w ultrasound they said that I was only measuring 5w4d so then they checked my hcg levels and it came back 6577 which to me seems really low.  If I continued to double like I should I would have been over 13000 but the nurse said that the 6577 was within range for 6 weeks. What gives I'm so confused I have 3 different time frames going on here. I just want everything to be normal.  I have another ultrasound on Mon. so see if there is any progress I just pray that there is a fetal pole and heartbeat.

Well, the clinic just called with my results and my hCG went from 84 to 228. So that's good. Yeah I'm excited.

It doesn't sound like a case where you're not as far as you thought. Because they're using your IUI as the date of conception you're measuring at 4 weeks 3 days (give or take a few days) which is where you said you are. The only thing you can do is wait to see what the test tomorrow will tell you, and if your levels are rising.

I ovulated on the 2nd or 3rd of May. I had an IUI on the second of May. There is no way it happened before then. Of course they go by LMP but that doesn't count with me. It hasn't even been 3 weeks since I ovulated. It's been 16 or 17 days.

I know exactly when I got pregnant with my last, and my HCG at 4 weeks 3 days was 885. Everyone is so different. Are you sure you know when you ovulated? You may not be as far along as you think you are.

Seems ok, just test in a week and make sure they are increasing. Mine were low 514 when i was supposed to be 6w 4d. But the doc said im probably not as preg as i thought.
I think i ovulated a bit late due to the flu i had week of ovulation. So he said I was really 3 weeks (5 weeks LMP). Im getting another beta test this week to see what my HCG is now. Im hoping its at 8-9 weeks.

All I can say is try not to stress about it. Just think you're probably not as far as you thought and you're carring a healthy baby. Congrats!

Yeah there's that chart again. The gaps are so big but what is normal and healthy. The nurse said they like to see it at least 100. Does that mean that maybe I'm just not as far along as they think I am?

Here's a chart.

# 3 weeks LMP: 5 - 50 mIU/ml
# 4 weeks LMP: 5 - 426 mIU/ml
# 5 weeks LMP: 18 - 7,340 mIU/ml
# 6 weeks LMP: 1,080 - 56,500 mIU/ml
# 7 - 8 weeks LMP: 7, 650 - 229,000 mIU/ml
# 9 - 12 weeks LMP: 25,700 - 288,000 mIU/ml
# 13 - 16 weeks LMP: 13,300 - 254,000 mIU/ml
# 17 - 24 weeks LMP: 4,060 - 165,400 mIU/ml
# 25 - 40 weeks LMP: 3,640 - 117,000 mIU/ml
# Non-pregnant females: <5.0 mIU/ml

The important part is that they're doubling every 48-72 hours.
