8 weeks pregnant, smokers, lost weight, no appetite.

I am 8 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I just found out 3 days ago. I have been around smokers the whole time I was without knowing that I was pregnant. Is it going to effect me in anyway that I have been around smokers the whole time so far? Plus. I've lost weight since I have been pregnant. I'm not hungry at all. I cant eat 2 bites of a meal without having to push it to the side because I don't want it. Is that normal?

I'm surprised the smoke smell hasn't become repulsive to you.. don't let anyone fool you into believing smoking is harmless during pregnancy.

That is totally normal. Most women loss weight in the forst few months of pregnancy because of loss of appetite. I am currently 8 weeks and have a hard time finding something I want to eat but just make sure you are taking
your prenatals. They help to make sure that the baby is getting proper nutriance and about the smoking its not going to hurt you but I wouldnt continue to be around it now that you know. Wishing you a happy and healthly 9 months

This is fully normal! My first I lost 20lbs before I finally gained 10. This pregancy I have lost 15. So it is ok as long as ur ob says its ok! And the smokjng thing, I smoked the whole time I was preggers with my daughter. I tried to stop but my ob told me if I stopped all at once I could loose my baby! And she is fine. Everyone I know smokes and I never worried.,
