Use monistat 3 cream. The same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago. It was the weekend so i couldn't call my doc. I used it without asking him. Told him afterward nd he said thats wat he would hv recommended anyways. Plus it worked:)

In my drug book Monistat is labeled as a category C that's why I suggested waiting to see your Dr. Also because many women during pregnancy think they have a yeast infection and it actually turns out to be a bacterial vaginosis which would be treated differently.

Yeah I most deffently want to do something about it soon because it's so uncomfortable feeling like that. And I do believe that you can use monistat when pregnant because I remember having one with mY first kiddo and the doctor recommended me monistat.. So maybe that will be what the doctor tells me to get this time too. I'll just have to see

My dr said the meds on my list all have no risk. Monistat1 is on there.

Nystatin is the best thing to use although its a prescription. I wouldn't use monistat without consulting your Dr as its only considered safe if the benefits outweigh the risks, since the yeast infection won't harm the baby I'd wait til Monday before taking anything. Also baths aren't good as they can actually cause more harm than good, cranberry juice works for UTIs not for yeast infections. Cotton panties are a good idea as well as a daily probiotic

Oh thank y'all ! Very helpful to know all this I've been taking warm showers and try to relax and keep calm until tommorow. Drinking lots of water and eating yogurt and it's help a little.

Warm bath helps but make sure you completly dry down there or it will get worse , cranberry juice is gonna b your best friend & eat yogurt. I had a uti & yeast all at once. I was prescribed this pill you take it once & its gone. I was told soap & other washes could harm down there more than help because if you "wash" away all your natural bacteria its not good.

You can safely use the internal monistat cream. Your cervix should be closed so nothing can harm the baby. Plus the baby is surrounded by protection. Just make sure you use it the whole time it tells you to and use the outside cream. You can also drink lemon in your water. The acid will kill off yeast

I would check with your doc first. Most places have an emergency/on call number for after hours where you can talk to one of the doctors in the practice, who can consult your doctor for you if needed. Call your office and see if they have this.

monistat 7 is what is usually prescribed.. it is a seven day treatment, vaginally inserted. drink water/cranberry juice, wear cotton undies, pantyliners, pee after sex and make sure to keep that area dry..

Yogurt definitely helps. Putting it down there as well as eating it. Avoid anything with yeast in it as well as sugar. Eating garlic helps too. Also only use 100% cotton undies. Anything else might make it worse. I hope you feel better. Drink lots of water!
