when to install the carseat?

when did you ladies install your carseat? my babys daddy thinks i won't make it till my due date and wants to now. but i think we should in a couple more weeks.

I installed it around 37 weeks last time. This time I installed it at 35 weeks because I was traveling almost 3 hours away.

Could always keep it by the door (: he'll have time while you're dilating to run down and put it in until you start delivery!

I will put mine in early so I have time to run by the fire station and have them check the base to make sure it's secured the rite way! And also to get my daughter used to sitting next to it!

should i wash the carseat? its brand new but is it a good idea to wash it? this is his and my first so he is a little paranoid about getting things done before she gets here i told him to relax but he wants it done he doesn't want to do it last minute because "he doesn't want to miss one little thing" lol. he is a weirdo

I'm 39+4 weeks and I'm having contractions right now. And the car seat still isn't ready in the truck. In fact I haven't even put it all together since I washed it.
