Mixed feelings

So I'm eight weeks and at times I'm very excited to be pregnant and other times I feel like I'm not ready and I have no clue what to do when the baby does come. The pregnancy was planned and talked about with my husband. Is this normal to have these feelings?

Yeah they seem so fragile to change their clothes!! Or their head will flop off if you don't hold them ever so carefully!

I hope it will be second nature, I've heard once you become a mother it wont be so strange or like a mystery.

I think it's something all first time mothers worry about. My sister and I were pregnant at the same time, but she was 1 month ahead of me. My niece was 5 weeks premature and when I was visiting my sister let me hold her and I FREAKED. I didn't know how to take her cloths off properly (she had vomited on her clothing and she asked me to change her) I didn't know how to hold her properly, and I didn't know what to do when she started to cry. After my daughter was born it was like second nature - it doesn't seem possible, but you'll know what to do when it comes time.

It is common to feel worried and worry that you wont be a good mom, we all have those moments. There are times now when I worry that I am not doing enough and my baby is now 2!

Yeah, my cousin brought over her one month baby and let me hold her. She was only barely seven pounds so it felt like I was going to break her or something. I'm just afraid I'll totally screw everything up!
