A couple of questions

Okay so the first one is what are the signs of a yeast infection? A dr from the health department told me I have a yeast infection. This dr also told my sister inlaw she did't have a kidney infection and 3 weeks later she's back in hospital with same syptoms gets a different dr and does have a kidney infection.  So with that situation I don't much trust him. I'm seeing my dr. on the 30th. I really don't want to do the whole gel yeast treatment the first dr gave me. Should I wait for second opinion?

My other question is I got a new due date. It went from aug 5th to july 30th. So almost a week off. Which date would you go by? Lmp or measurements?

Sorry for being so long.

Did the Dr. diagnose it by doing a swab?  If so I'd use the meds.  Yeast can be seen by microscope on swabbed samples.

You can purchase a kit that will tell you if you have a yeast infection. If positive than definitely use your cream for treatment.

Also your dr is going to keep your due date based on your lmp and your first u/s scan.

Cogratulations!! Enjoy your new beginning

I have no symptoms of yeast, and by the measurements I am 12w4d. Thanks.

a yeast infection or thrush is common in pregnancy, and symptoms include a discharge which is like cottage cheese and you can be extremely itchy, if you do have those symptoms, then I would say yes to the medication, you partner should also be treated as he can reinfect you with it, also depending on how far along you are I would go with your lmp, unless your still in your first trimester as scans done then are the most reliable for dating, over the first and babies grow at differing rates :)
