Dialating check?

At how many weeks does your doctor check if youve started dialating? Im currently 37+6 weeks prego and so far all my doc does is weigh me, check my blood pressure, measure my tummy, and answer questions...

I'm 40+5 and they still haven't checked mine :-/

Depends on the doctor and OB practices... some won't and others will anywhere from 34 weeks and on....you can always ask to be checked they usually won't turn you down if you ask

Thanks ladies i have my next appointment on Friday so i hope she checks then, i get really bad cramps and sharp stabbing pains but no bleeding and the cramps aren't closer together so maybe labor's soon?

My doctor didn't check unless you had signs of labor or until you were 39 weeks

I was checked at 35 weeks and every week after that.

I started getting checked with both of mine at 36 weeks. But I had the same doctor for both. I didn't start making an progress until 38 weeks though.

Am 38 weeks & my ob said they won't be checking me at all untll am in labor smh

Depends. Some at 36wks,  some not til 39wls, and others never do.
