A little nervous

So i have a c section scheduled for the 21st, but ive been having some contractions last night and today. I had one while my dr was measuring me today and she could feel it. She didnt seem worried which made me feel better. But im still nervous that ill end up going into labor before next week :/ im having a c section because my son is breech and i live half an hour away from the hospital. Has anyone ever gone into labor before a scheduled c section?

Just keep an eye on your contractions. Pay attention to how far apart they are and if they're consistent. If they're consistent and seem to be getting closer together then you know you should probably head to the hospital before they get too close together since you live a little ways from the hospital

Im more worried about the fact its a half an hour drive to the hospital on a good day, i live in iowa so winters can be really bad and storms can come out of nowhere

I went into labor 3 weeks early (2 weeks before my scheduled csection) and I still got my csection. They'll still give it to you just make sure they know your supposed to do csection and why if you do go into labor.

My planned csection (preeclamplsia, breech baby, fractured pelvis) was cancelled because of a major storm here. They admitted me and said they would do it when things were sorted out in the next couple of days. The next morning I woke up in labour. They waited and monitored contractions and when they were 3 in 10mins (only a couple of hours later! It happened fast!) they took me to the OR for an emergency csection. I hope it all goes well for you!

I think if you did go into labor before your scheduled c section than they would most likely do am emergency c section.. but I could be wrong tho.
