Towards the end of my pregnancy with my son I smoked 3-4 a day and he still came out 9 pounds with an apgar score of 9. Try using a pillow to keep from rolling over onto your back.

I hate how some try to put all things that go wrong onto cigarettes.  I hate smoking but I hate misleading info more. Yes smoking can CONTRIBUTE  to miscarriage or premature baby, however you can be perfectly healthy and nothing you could have done could have stopped either one from happening.  Pregnant women who smoke know the risk.  My cousin smoked throughout her pregnancy and she now has a healthy 3 year old. I mean its like the whole you can only lay on your left side b.s., no its laying on your back is not such a good idea in late pregnancy because the uterus is heavy and put wait on a major nerve/vain, however your body tells you when its too much. Im 35 weeks and still wake up on my back but I believe I wake up because my body is telling me its time to move.

Waking up on your back is fine. The cigarettes you need to speak to your doctor and start quitting. The masturbating is good youre cramping because the orgasms contract your uterus so you're actually helping. And yes its normal to look huge after food.

Thank you serenityannbray you know where I'm coming from its hard to stop really and some people don't get it. But I'm trying so hard 4 a day is great for me especially compared to how much I use to smoke and everyone around me smoke. My husband doesn't know but I know when he come home its gone have to be cold turkey for me. Thanks again for being so understanding.

I Still Smoke Cigarettes And So Far Everything With The Baby Is Healthy. But I Still Know The Risks That Could Happen. Just Because The Baby Is Healthy Doesnt Mean Cigarettes Can't Hurt Him/Her. Its Good That You Only Smoke Four A Day. I Know How Hard It Is To Quit. As For The Orgasms That's Fine. The Contraction That Happens With It Isn't The Same As An actual Contraction.

You should discuss cigarette smoking with your doctor. It's not only very dangerous for your baby but for you also.

Cramping when orgasm is normal, actually. It's your uterus contracting. Sleeping on your back is ok, until it gets painful/uncomfortable. As for the smoking, 4 cigarettes sounds like a good amount for an addict who's pregnant. Maybe you should slowly try to get to 3. Then less and less. It's your choice of course :) enjoy your pregnancy, stay healthy.

Smoking also greatly increases the risk of sids. It is normal for your tummy to look bigger after eating just don't eat huge meals try eating like 4 small meals,a, day and snacking. As for the cramping I would ask your doctor.
