After delivery

I know the doctors say to wait 6 weeks before sex or anything down there but I'm just wondering if anyone has used tampons before 6 weeks?

The first two weeks post partum, the thought of using a tampon...well, basically I could hardly sit. And the thought of having a bowel movement was enough to scare me because I hurt so bad. By four weeks the pain was gone, but it's still not a good idea to introduce anything into the vagina so soon after birth.

Tampons are a huge no no. Basically anything inserted in your vagina before the 6 weeks is a bad idea.

I did after 3 weeks. It hurt so bad tho. And since your cervix is still healing its not a good idea. But sex is fine when it feels ok to you

I wouldn't, they tell you not to cause the whole toxic shock thing, after about 2 weeks you can just use panty liners so its not as uncomfortable.
