bleeding and clotting?

Ok so I was at the er late lastnight due to bledding and passing clots. The pregnancy test through blood work was still posotive but idk....did anyone else have this happen without having a miscarriage or anything like that?....is it normal to bleed heavy and clot? Im only a few weeks pregnant.

Yes I know how it works. But you can still get a positive test if the hormone is still in your system.

Yes when you said positive test, I guess you meant urine test right? If you talking abt urine test, yes it will still show positive result. The blood one is just different, well I guess everything is ok tho cause I clotted too but it didnt stopped my baby to develop (my HCG level doubled every 48 hours that I get tested) I was told it was normal in some pregnancies

The blood work will still come back as positive if it's a miscarriage til the hormone is out of your system. They should've at least did an ultrasound.

Not true, the blood work will show if she is misscarrying or not. It will fepends on her HCG, if it keeps on doubling every 48-72 hours that means the pregnamcy is developping.

They didnt say I asked them what my level is at n they said they didnt test for that they only tested to see if it was still posotive wich it was. Im sapose to have more bloodwork done Monday when I see the actual obgyn instead of mu family dr.

I had it a few times up to 20 weeks while i was pregnant with my son. And he was born perfectly healthy!

They said my results r still posotive.  I have an appointment with the obgyn on monday so fingers crossed n praying things r ok.

First time reading this post and I read the rest of the comments, I've never miscarried so I don't know a lot on it but I do want to know what happened and if everything went okay today. Good luck I hope baby is still in there and healthy!

Thank u everyone the dr said its a 60/40% chance of a miscarriage.  I find out tomorrow for sure if my hcg level dropped or not. Today marks day 3 of the bleeding n clotting but I am now bariely bleeding and I only passed 2-3 really small clots and the bleeding was light all day today.  So im trying to stay hppeful and not think negative.  My fiance says he has that gut feeling the baby is fine as do so we r keeping up the good thoughts til we know for sure.  I will keep u all posted. Thank u for the inspiring n hopeful words they really mean alot right now. :")

its normal,longest it dont hurt you its normal its just remind you wen your last period start t if it stops and comes its,normal it just reminding you of wen your period start t dont stress abt it you be fine

Hey dont listen to those who are saying its a miscarriage, I bled VERY BAD with my daughter only being 9weeks I had clots and all. I went to the ER they said that the baby was fine ..now she's sitting here tearing up my room full of energy. Try and get an ultrasound done just to be certain !.

This happen to me and they told me I was hemorrhaging outside of my yolk sac. She gave antibiotics and I had an appointment with obgyn same week. She put me on bed rest
I'm 31 almost 32 weeks now.

If you had bloods taken on the same day that you had bleeding and clots, the chances are that the blood would still site levels of hcg. The do not go away immediately if you have suffered a miscarriage, which unfortunately sounds like you have. Of course i could be entirely wrong and i really do hope i am. You should have more follow up bloods taken and if the hcg levels are getting lower or are at zero then unfortunately your baby grew its wings

It sounds like ba miscarriage. If you get your blood drawn gain kn 48 hours and the hcg level has stayed the same or gone down then it was most likely a miscarriage.
