Als ice bucket challenge?

Out of curiosity,  what's everyone's views on doing this while pregnant?  I've seen stuff about Pregnant women doing it but most of them do an alternative method and don't dump it on their heads. On the other hand I've found women say it's completely safe. Don't really feel like calling my doctor about it,  just curious what every one thinks

I thought about doing it, but if i donated $100  only $8 dollars would go to charity. The rest of it pays for employee salaries and promotion... I'll pass.

I delete every post I see of it...so sick of seeing it. I bet most doing it don't realize that they are supposed to donate and do the challenge. I am sure most have not donated.

Waste of water in my opinion, just donate no need to waste buckets and buckets of water.

If you use a small bucket of water and ice you will be fine and will not put your body in shock...

I was wondering the same thing, I actually just asked my boyfriend about it last night, mainly because his dad got nominated to do it and I have a feeling he'll call me out to lol. But the people who are saying that it hasn't raised any money so it's pointless obviously haven't been paying attention, the ALS foundation has raised close to $14 Million so far this year where as last year they only raised a little over $1 Million.

Nooo waayy. Do your research ladies! Being pregnant and having your temp changed dramatically like that, CAN actually be really bad and can put baby in shock. Im unsure if its 'rare' or if it even happens often. But personally I wouldn't risk it anyway.  As I said, do some research

There is nothing wrong with doing it.. lol just dont automatically jump into something hot. Obviously get warm because ef the cold but transitioning to quick can put anyones body in shock.
I think its a great way to raise awarness, i didnt know what als was until i saw that a bunch of people were doing it.Will i donate? No. If i had money to donate to a cause i would have money to fix my car. Which i dont. Haha but thats not the point! Everyones like "blah blah blah no one is even donating so we should stop"
And i think that it raises enough awareness and SOMEONE will donate. Plus whats the harm? Its better then being like "give me money for this."

It's to raise awareness and get people to donate money for Lou Gehrig's disease (als) basically people get nominated by friends and have to either donate 100 dollars to alsa or dump a bucket of ice water on themselves and can donate less(but still have to donate) and then get to nominate 3 more people to do the challenge.  Evryone has 24 hours to accept and do it

I did it and it was fine... If you can take a hott bath and be ok you can dump some could water on your head too and be ok... Its not like you are gonna submerge your self in a bucket of ice water for a long period of time... Do it if u get nominated ... Its fun and for a good cause

What's that? I've heard of people doing it, but I don't know why everyone keeps doing it?
