Am I Pregnant Again?

I had a abortion June 23 and two weeks after me and my partner started having unprotected sex. It's been a month now no period but spotting from time to time. We've been having sex quite often and I'm starting to think I'm pregnant again. I took two pregnancy test one on July 20 which came back a faint positive and another one July24 which came out negative. Am I pregnant again? and what is this spotting if I am?

I'm assuming then you had a miscarriage and needed a D&C? If this is the case, it's wise to wait at least 1-3 cycles before you get pregnant again. Otherwise, it's possible the uterine lining won't be enough to support a new pregnancy. There is a common thought that you won't get pregnant if your body can't handle it, but I believe this to be a lie.

I'm sorry as well if it felt as though you were being attacked. The medical term for a miscarriage is actually Spontaneous abortion, and in other areas (even in the states) is what a miscarriage is called.

A chemical pregnancy is a very early miscarriage. I very much doubt you're pregnant again. Are you trying?

Chemical pregnancy? Will my doctor be able to determine this?
I'm seeing the doctor soon so I will ask for a blood test

Hi, Hopefully you are not pregnant. The positive could have been the hormones from your last pregnancy but I would check with your DR. When you check with your DR you might like to talk to him about contraception. EG the needle you have injected every 6 mths? Hope this helps

You could have had a chemical pregnancy or the spotting can be the start of your period..

I would suggest if you do not want to be pregnant at this time to use protection..
