Am I Pregnant?

I am really confused right now. My period is almost 2 weeks late, not having many symptoms other than having to pee all the time (no pain). Took a home urine test yesterday first in the morning and it was positive, took one later in the day yesterday, it was negative. Took another one first in the morning today and it was negative again. Had a blood test done yesterday but haven't got the results back. I'm ttc and I'm wondering what would cause a false positive, and why the other tests came up negative.

I would wait until you get the results of your blood test back. ß-HCG levels are more accurate than HPT, different test kits have different sensitivity levels. Usually the first morning urine is the most concentrated which is why it is also recommended to test at that time. The urine test can detect as little as 20 mIU/ml whereas the serum (blood) ß-HCG can detect as low as 5 mIU/ml, so you can see the difference in the sensitivity levels.

Good luck!!!!

It wouldn't necessarily be a false positive, you could have had a chemical pregnancy which can show up positive one day and negative the next.  They are very common, unfortunately, and most women don't even know they were pregnant.  I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that your beta is positive, though!!
