Yeah when my doctor told me to start doing kick counts...as she was chasing the baby around my belly for the doppler as you could see my belly bounce..i looked at her like she was nuts lol. This little girl moves constantly! So like you beautifulmistake2010 i never worry about doing them because she is so active all day and then even wakes me up at night lol
I never did kick counts... It just seem's to be something more to stress over... " Is my baby moving enough?" "Why isn't he/she moving" when a lot of people are stuck on that, they forget that this human being has a mind of it's own... .And if it's not moving constantly, then it's resting, or just being "lazy"... LOL... I never do kick counts unless I go a whole entire 24 hrs without feeling baby move.. Which in my case is NEVER an issue...It's just too stressful, and I have enough on my plate to deal with.
all baby are diff but i know i felt my babys move at about 16 weeks but for this baby now that im at 27 weeks some days i cant feel him at all i think he is getting tight in there so he is not moveing alot
At 22 weeks I wouldn't feel my son move all day, then I would feel little movements as soon as I would lay down for bed. Third trimester I didn't think he ever slept he would move all day long. I hear that babies are more active at night when you are still... the movement from you being busy during the day lulls them to sleep in your belly =)
It can really depend on the baby. Generally at 22 weeks you might feel constant movement, or you might every few days. You might never get constant movement. I felt my baby maybe a few times a day sometimes or I wouldn't feel her at all. Some babies are just lazy. In time you'll notice a pattern and what's normal for your baby.
My doc told me not to worry about really consistant movement until 28 weeks, which is when they suggest you start doing kick counts. She said as long as the movement isnt alot less then normal for a few days to not worry until you are closer to your 3rd trimester.
