still bleeding do i eally need antibiotics?
Kayla is now 5 weeks old i had nealy stoped bleeding at 2-3 weeks but still spoted some each day but las week a few day i bleed a little heavy on and off almost ike a period so i made an appointment with my doc who did a swab to see it i have an infection in the mean time she gave me antibotics just in case . The results wont be back till later next week so she said to start them now or wait till the results come back it was my choice when i got home and read the leflet it said you may have to stop feeding while taking the tablets which i cant do with a 5 week old so i have not started them yet i rang the doc and two different pharmacvies to see what the have to say and have been looking online for an answer but everyone had a different opinion what do you think also the bleeding could be normal for me as i bleed for 14 weeks after my first 7 weeks after my second 16 days then spopped a week afterr my misscarriage so maybe its just me should i hold of the tables till the rresults come back
i probably an anemic from the amount of blood i have lost i was first put on iron when i was a month old and have been on and off them my whole life so that is worth a try thanks
Are you anemic? I'd try taking some iron suppliments, and see if it's stops!

Sorry! I don't have any advice for you. Hopefully the antibiotics start working and that the bleeding stops!
i have been on the meds for 5 day now and still no better any thoughts
got results back have infection have started bleeding really heavy now does anyone think that it is the infection or something else the taables dont seam to be doing anything the bleedig seams to be getting worse what should i do thanks
yeh thanks that what i was thinking because i bleed for 14 weeks and 7 weeks with my last 2 but because the text books say 2 weeks the doctors think after 14 days you stop bleeding and f you dont something is wrong
If it were me PERSONALLY I would wait for the results. With my kids I bled for 6-7 weeks...I'd have days of just barely spotting and go back to full flow.
just phoned the doc results wont be back till thursday
