Lost mucus plug at 34 wks!

Ok so im Due on June 16th, Im 36 weeks and 2days today but i lost all my mucus plug this past monday which was May 17th, i was just about to turn 36 weeks! I lost it that morning then had a dr appointment the same day after i lost my MP and when my doctor did my exam she said im dilated to a 1. How long does it usually take for this process to start labor? As i said before im due on the 16th of June and if she isnt here by the 16th my doctor is inducing me that day! Im so ready for my lil girl to be out! Someone help me out with some answers please!

Had contractions(Strong ones) last night that were 4 minutes apart and lasted a minute each time which went on for 45 minutes! Does this mean labor could be soon???

So i went to my doctor today and she did an exam, im still dilated to a one and still not to thinned but today after my exam i been bleeding and having pains in my belly that kinda shoot sharp pains down towards my um......vagina sorry if its TMI! Is this normal?

Well you want baby to stay in as long as possible. 36 weeks or even 38 weeks isn't a magical week that baby is all done. Pregnancy is 40-42 weeks. I know it stinks and you're ready but once they're in your arms you'll look back and think, "Wow, it didn't take that long for her to get here!"

Losing the plug is not indicative of labor at all. In fact it can grow back! So you may lose it again. ;-)

Gosh this is taking forever this time lol! Omg I walked for 4 hours today, took a hot bath and had sex but now I can't sleep! I'm having lots of pelvic pressure and feel like I have to use the restroom, but I cant. And I'm peeing like every 10 minutes it seems! And my daughter isn't moving as much as she usually does, but still moving! Could labor be close?

oh and i was dialted to one for almost 2 weeks so u never know, only baby and body knows :)

i started losin mine a month before i went into labor. was there blood n urs.  they say blood means it will be within 48 hours.. mine never had blood until the night before i went into labor.  but mine was regenerating for a month, it was so frustrating

it depends on if this is ur first baby or not ? after u have had a baby pregnancy changes ! after ur first delivery ur body produces mores mucus u can lose mucus for months before and the whole plug can reguvenate itself! but if u are starting to dialate it is safe to say u are starting the begining stages of labour! if u would like to help things along this is what they sent me home to do in ur position have sex, and have a hot bath but not too hot and do some stairs it worked for me i was 1 centimeter with contractions 5-10 mins apart! i went home and did all these things and woke up at 6am with hard contractions at 3-5 mins apart went to hospital at 2mins apart and i was 3 centimeters dialated , i had my son that day at 7pm i got to the hospital at 11am! so i know how u are feeling right now u are soooo ready to give birth, i am 33weeks with my second child and i am ready to go so i hope this is it for u good luck i hope it goes fast for u and not long and drawn out ..keep us posted on ur progress

Thanks for the info yall! And yeah i know there is only 4 weeks left but Ugh it seems like so long still....Lol, im going crazy and so uncomfortable! I keep having contractions but they go away, I wish she would come out already cause i do not wanna get induced again, i was induced with my Son cause he went 2 days past his due date.

I've never lost mine - was induced with each of my pregnancies due to being late and nothing happening on it's own....and I do mean NOTHING, lol - but I've heard that you could still be looking at a couple of weeks more, even if you have lost your mucous plug.  And dilation doesn't necessarily mean that things are imminent, either.  Plus, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I've heard that a MP can regenerate itself.....so it's possible to lose it more than once ;-)

HI! I think this is a subject that comes up a lot. Losing mucous doesn't really indicate that labor is going to happen tomorrow or anything but since you are at 36 weeks it does mean that it will happen sometime in the near future (could be a week could be 4). Your plug can regenerate itself and some women lose it for weeks before they go into full blown labor. Hang in there girl you only have a little less than 3 weeks!
