What is the gestational age?? is that how far Iam??
Gestational age is the age of the fetus based on when your LMP was. Conceptional age is how old the fetus actually is.
Maybe youre futher along then you thought? I don't know thats weird...you would think they'de explain some of this ****..I hate how doctors dont really mention things unless you ask! Thats why I always write down what I want to ask so I dont forget to ask them something!
Ok. I just saw my dr. this am and I have to go a do the quad screening today and on the back of the form it gaves you all of my infor. like weight, DOB, race fetal #, last u/s and then it comes to gesational age and it says 21 1/7 but today Iam only 20w5d or 20w3d.

Yeah the gestional age is how they measure you in weeks and days instead of months. That's why everyone likes to say im 27wks 1day. Getting the g/a from the 1st day of your last period is the closest way to give you a due date...if that makes any sense.
I believe so since they say a human's gestationis 40 weeks...so I'm pretty sure thats what that means...lol why don't we know this?
