That feels weird about having a bunch of people looking down there at my private area while giving birth? I'm insure due to my past but is it normal? I kinda feel childish for even mentioning it. :/

You're not the only one hun! This is my first baby and I don't even want the doctor and nurses down there! Lol.   I hate when I have to go in for a pap smear, it's just so awkward! Lol

I for some reason get more weirded out at my husband seeing down there at that time than if a dr would. I just don't want my husband seeing our kid coming out of there lol I told him to stay up by my head the whole time lol idk why it's so weird to me

Maybe it's from having so many doctors and student nurses do some many exams on me since I was 12 with endometriosis or being in the medical field myself,  but I'm totally comfortable with it. It's their job and they aren't going to judge you in any kind of way and they've seen it all. But it's definitely normal to be embarrassed or uncomfortable, it's your PRIVATE parts. The only time I got a little weird was at my last appointment after my pap, the doctor promptly said "Wow! Your cervix looks fantastic!" That kind of rubbed me wrong LOL. don't worry though, it's just a part of life.

Your not the only one. When i had my first baby i was the same way. However, when your in labor and your pushing you dont care... the president himself could be down there and you wouldnt care because your main focus would be to bring your baby into the world. You have the right to deney anyone from looking down there and if they cant respect your dexision then they dont need to be in there with you. Good luck and god bless!!!

I was totally weirded out by it I missed my apps cause I thought it was so awkward and even when it came to checking dilation I was like omg very embarrassed but when I had the urge to push believe me my gown was up and I didn't care who seen my vagina lol.. and now after three kids I'm like mehh they've seen it all before lol

I think its wired lol thats why im not getting any check ups down there till after the baby is born cuz im sure I wont care then. But I am also having a home birth so only my husband and midwife only if I let her will see down there.

I actually feel weird about it too, but I try to remember that they see and do child birth all the time .
