Animals acting weird?

Ok so I know I said I was going to leave this forum due to drama but it looks like its calmed down so I'm back. :)
Anyway! Here's my question..
I'm 37 weeks 4 days and for the past 3 days my dog has been really clingy to me. She is always by my side, and she's even began sleeping in my room. My mom says she thinks my dog probably senses that the baby will be here soon. Has this happened to anyone?

I don't have any pets but I have heard pets can become real clingy and protective of pregnant women
