I was about 75lbs over weight with my first child... I didn't diet all I did was eat a little healthier... More fresh fruit, vegetables, and leaner meats chicken... Avoided too much fried food, but occasionally I craved it once a month or so... I actually lost weight at the beginning in the first and second trimester and gained in the third about 11 lbs total in pregnancy.... So I would just eat healthier lost after baby was born as well with breast feeding and continuing to eat healthier... About 35 lbs after baby was born... Pregnant with #2 now 25 weeks and doing well have only gained 6lbs... So healthier eating is definitely the way to go it will make you feel better as well!! God bless and congrats on baby...
There is a difference between dieting and eating healthy as long as you're eating healthy and not over exercising you will be fine. I have had four children and each pregnancy I have lost weight and my children have all gained weight being born at 6 pounds or so so long as you don't overdo it eat healthy your baby and you will be happy
