Any way to "induce" labor?

I am 40+1weeks. As of my last weeks appt I was at 1cm and 80% effaced. If I dont labor in my own my doctor will induce at 41weeks. I got upset because I really want my february baby (not march) so she said if she decided to "wave the white flag" if I make it to mt next appt then shell send me to l&d for an induction. Even though apparently its the midwives who get the last say in seeing if my body is ready. Anywho, I really dont want a medical induction :/ I want my baby now. Any way to help get labor started?

What the above said ^, also I have heard bouncing on the yoga ball, keeping active in general, then theres the always debated nipple stimulation. Red rapsberry leaf tea. If you have an orgasm it can begin contractions.
