Anybody have their membrane stripped at 38 weeks?

Today I am 38 weeks and just had my membrane stripped. I've been dilated at 3 since 31 weeks and my contractions haven't done anything else to my cervix after I was given medicine to stop pre-term labor. Anybody else have their membrane stripped at 38 weeks? How long did it take for your water to break or for you to have contractions?

I didn't. I walked a lot after. That night my water broke with one. My son is a longer story but, no pain like that.
