Im due August 15th and just click on my name and you will be able to go to my journal and see the list of safe seafood. I'm pretty sure crab is one that is fine in moderation.

Thanks, yeah I'm mostly worried about the weight gain thing, I've actually been losing weight but i think that's because I'm a bigger girl and when i found out i was  pregnant, i changed my eating and started walking. Thanks for all the tips! Would love to hear updates since we're due the same month! :-)

Ftm just about to my 3rd trimester. The best resource will be your doctor, write down any questions you have before you go to your appts and ask them. Just make sure you eat healthy, lots of fruits and veggies and all that. Try and stay away from pink meats and cold cuts, because it can cause listeriosis. Make sure you're careful on your fish intake per weak, and avoid fish high in mercury, try and do some light exercise (talk to your doctor about it first) if you smoke you should try and quit and get your home smoke free, that's about all I can think of.

I'm 11 weeks but this is my third :) Make sure to take your prenatal vitamins and drink lots of water. Also make sure to get a list of safe meds and things you shouldn't eat while pregnant from your doctor. I have a list of safe fish in my journal that you can double check with your doctor. Mine says it's fine but every one is different. Don't stress if you don't gain a bunch of weight or you if you even lose some. If your doctor is concerned with your weight they will tell you. Everyone carries differently and baby being high vs low is not an indication of gender neither is symptoms or cravings or any of those random old wives tales people may tell you :) try not to stress and enjoy your pregnancy?
