I went to the doc today and she signed me up for a line of tests and gave me a prescription for prometreum (sp) does any know anything about this med or has anyone taken it?

it ended up being $20 for only 14 pills.  It was alot more expensive than the straight progesterone I took before.....Does anyone know the difference between progesterone and prometrium?

Do you have insurance, depending on your plan, it could be less expensive.
for ex: I paid $35 for it on top of my insurance...

Prometrium is right. Do you know if it's expensive?  I haven't picked it up yet, should I be prepared??

I think what you're talking about is Prometrium. It's more or less Progesterone and is used in women who have a history of miscarriages and can help if you're trying to conceive. There's more uses, but this is the main one I know of.
