pregnancy after miscarriage

so I was pregnant, and at 8 1/2 weeks had a miscarriage, no d&c necessary. I have already had a normal period again and we havent really been trying again because I have ovarian cysts and am scheduled to have surgery at the end of this month, but I just realized that my period is two days late. I want to be pregnant, the miscarriage was very hard on me and my partner and I know that he really wants to be a father, but I dont want to go through another miscarriage, I was trying to count and see when it could have happened but I cant really remember, my last a.f. was june 7, could I really be pregnant again so soon? and what are the odds of actually carrying to term this time, since I do still have the cysts, couldnt they still remove them laproscopically if I were pregnant?

I dont know much about them at all.  You could try a quick google search to see what turns up.

Thank you for your speedy reply, yes we should have been using protection, but it was a one time slip up, they mostly are though, lol. The type of cysts that i have I believe are called dermoid or dermatoid, something like that, have you heard of those and whats your knowledge of how serious they are?

Yes, you could be pregnant so soon.  Some women get pregnant the month after a miscarriage.

It depends on the nature of your cysts as to what treatment would be required and what effect they might have on you.  I would suggest using precautions to prevent pregnancy at this stage (if you are not pregnant) until you have had your surgery.
