Get contractions in the middle of the night? They are literally every night... why does it only happen in the middle of the night? Im 38 weeks today

I didn't have them.. or notice them with my first until I was in labor.. this is all new to me...

I'm 38+5 and really have no contractions:( I hope I don't go too much over cause I'm so ready for her lol. But everyone's so suprised that I get no contractions, maybe I just don't know what they feel like

Mine are off and on through the day and the night. I'm currently 37 weeks and 2 days.

Same here I got checked at 36 weeks and I was closed. I have a doctors appointment today ill let you know if I dilated any!  Im praying that something useful comes out of those contractions (:

My due date is also the 16th :) and i don't think so. I was checked at 36 weeks and I was fully closed. I'm in again on Wednesday and they will be checking. Hopefully I'm starting to! You find it today if you are right? Good luck hopefully you're making progress!

it's because melatonin, the hormone that helps you sleep,.also helps to start labor

Well im 37weeks and 1days and for the past few days i've been having contractions at night only too its like right before bed and when i'm up i feel him balling or tighting up and putting pressure down there which hurts a little idk what to do i have a appointment on the 4th so i'll be asking my doctor about it good luck ladies

I think we have the same due date and I've been getting them too. Mine are usually just a few hours before I wake up and right before I go to bed. No clue why it happens then though. Just to make sure we don't get a good night sleep lol
