Anyone heard of Yams to help your odds of pregnancy?

I read an article about women who have twins. The highest concentration of women to have twins was in this tiny village where they eat yams every day. So these doctors all did a study about yams having an effect on the fertility in women.

Anyone else hear about this? Seems pretty silly. Doesn't mean I'm not trying it, just saying it seems silly. I think at this point if you told me wearing my underware on my head would get me pregnant I would give it a shot at least once!

I have not heard yams help but ive heard avocados do :)

Yeah but its not the yams that you can buy in the grocery store since those are basically sweet potatoes. Real wild yams you either have to plant yourself or special order.

I don't think it is silly at all. Avocodos boost fertility as well. They have properties in them that are beneficial to the chemical and hormonal issues associated with fertility.

So, if I've been eating a lot of yams in the psat few months I should worry about having to buy 2 of everything?  I wish I'd read this 3 months ago! =)
