baby almost here!

So today I went to my doctors appointment and I'm 2cm dilated, I'm only 36 weeks and 3 days. How long did it take you ladies to go into labor? I'm a ftm and I've been feeling contractions every hour or if not 2 hours. Any suggestions I can do to kick in labor? I'm really anxious to finally have my baby

Your so lucky! Im 40.3 weeks and i only am dilated 1/2 cm..at 38weeks i tried castor oil and it caused back labor for 20 hours. Then i took some last night nd i threw up nd was having strong contractions for an hour 3-4 mins apart then they just stopped :( i am gonna try the nipple stimulation tomorrow nd see what happens good luck

I'm 37 weeks and haven't dilated any yet but you can do things like walking up and down stairs eat spicy foods and have sex those are the only safe things that I know of

Your very lucky. I'm 39+1 and I haven't dilated much. I have been in 1cm for three week's and it wasn't till Wednesday that I was told I'm almost in a 2, not even there yet so I was scheduled for induction on my due date March 5th.. Good luck and sorry for not responding your question but congrats :)
