What great news! Hopefully when you start ttc everything will fall into place with the progesterone draw etc. IF not, at least you know you are in good hands!
haha I totally get the leg shaving embarrassment!
That's great Joy! I am so glad it went well! I have forgotten to shave at those types of appointments too and it is always very embarassing!!!! I understand!!! :)
Good luck with the exercising! I read about your bet with DH and I think it's AWESOME! I hope you're both really successful! :)
It's great that you got to see the old Dr. I didn't shave my legs before having TJ. however I had shaved... you know..... when I had my csection so they didn't have to shave me!
As for Terminology, I think if you have any sort of a passion for it you'll pick it up quickly. but you must use it or lose it.. right?
It DOES come in handy. Esp. with all this **** with TJ being in the hospital, I can understand the doctor when they're doing consults, and when they say something that I KNOW they think I didn't hear/know, I tell them "so you plan on doing this?" lol... the look on their faces is always priceless.
I am glad that your appointment with your new/old doctor went well. Best of Luck
honeybear- LOL! Unfortunately I didn't have the baby-bump-in-the-way excuse or I might not have been so embarassed! Ha ha!
Thanks!!! I am actually surprised that I wasn't emotional. The first time I miscarried and had to go in a few weeks later I was struggling to not bawl my eyes out (he was also the doctor I had during my first miscarriage). I don't know why it was easier. DH was having a bad day so maybe I was just countering that by having a good one. It feels good to not be sad, though.
ashiepooh- I got pregnant the first try, after the first cycle with my last miscarriage. He didn't really seem upset with me back then, so I'm sure if I did end up pregnant before having 3 cycles it would be okay. He told me, and I quote, "The uterus is a hostile environment after the miscarriage and would make it difficult for a new embryo to implant, thus giving you a higher chance of miscarrying again." See what I mean? Like science class! Thankfully science is my best subject (*wink*). All that to say we're not trying but not avoiding. Right now hubby and I are both on the Exercise Train!
I have a hard time shaving my legs, but when i go into the doctors i always apologize for my hairy legs. Its getting hard with my tummy getting bigger everyday. Well im happy that you have a doctor that you like. Always makes things so much better.
that is so good to hear, i'm glad your back with your old doctor. He sounds like an awsome doctor. You deserve a doctor like that.
YAY!!! I am glad you are very happy with your old/new doctor! LOL that does sound very weird. Oh well! And very awesome that after 3 cycles you guys have a green light to go at it! Even better that it already seems he will keep you under close watch for ttc and getting prego! =) Sounds like a great start to your weekend!
Oh man, I think both times I gave birth I hadn't shaved. Of course that is different because you do NOT care. You don't care about anything but getting the baby out. But I was laying there under the ugly flourescent lights with my white socks on. Oh my!
girl dont feel too bad! I've forgotten to shave before too. It is very embarassing. lol
