Argh i dunno

I've got my first scan in the morning, I think my doctors think I'm 2 weeks more than what I actually could be, they think I'm about 8 when I'm infact 6+3 at most. My emotions are all over the place, I'm happy and excited but scared and worried that something will come up and they'll say I'm not pregnant or somethings wrong or they can't see the baby. I'm trying not to stress but I'm so scared :'( I'm 20 and this will be our first baby, which we both want so much. I just needed to say this and wondered if anyone else felt like this to begin with?

Yeah true, I hope they realise the doctors prediction from my last period is totally wrong. Fingers crossed we can see something though and maybe hear the heartbeat :')

Don't say anything about how far you think you are, they will be able to tell you accurately from measuring the baby on the ultrasound

Thanks :) I will say to the midwife that I can be just over 6 weeks at most, they shouldn't cancel the appointment seeing as I'll be there already. I'm trying to stay calm, just freaking out a lot :/

Lol I just felt the same thing. I went for a check up and was worried there would be no heart best (15w) at 6w they might not see the baby just the sac, but you'll probably be able too :)  and if the tech is experienced she might even be able to catch the heartbeat for you to hear. I heard it at 6w :) don't stress momma

I felt exactly like this! I was  scared that she was going to do the scan and nothing would be there. If they think your 8 weeks then go along with it so I'll have it first scan sooner and put ur mind at rest. I constantly worried until I had my scan and when I eventually did everything was absolutely fine! ... I'm sure everything will be just fine with you, just try not to stress too much about it coz it's not good for the baby and good luck! :)
