That does not sound normal to me. I would to to the ER asap. I had a D&C just 3 months ago, and I bled for maybe a week..? I had mine due to unterine polyps, not a m/c, Although I might have gotten the polyps from a m/c because I was supposed to go the dr to make sure all the tissue and everything was coming out th way it should but I was to devistated to go.... I wish you the best.
Well thats the thing....i had a D&C the day after....so everything should be cleared out...they gave me an ultrasound after and said there was nothing left..which is why i am confused about the whole situation..
I had a similar experience in May. Called my doc immediately and he did and US right away to see if there were clotts remaining. There were many clotts seen in the US so he did a second D&C right away. Second time was a charm and my recovery was within 24 hours. I hope this helps...I would DEMAND and ultrasound and get this sorted out. Good Luck.
I am so sorry to hear about your losses. As far as the bleeding goes, I think every one and every experience is different. I have had 3 losses, 2 of which required a D&C with one of the D&C's I felt like I bled FOREVER... and then I didn't get a period for 3 months. With the other I think I spotted at first which after a week or so turned into full blown bleeding, then back to spotting then completely stopped after 2 1/2-3 weeks.
If you have been bleeding for 2 months straight though I would definitely put a call into your Dr. during there next business hours. If you are experiencing cramping as well I might even call over the weekend. But if you are or start soaking through a pad or more in an hour I would call the Dr. emergency line or go straight to the ER. Just my opinion. Always make sure you follow your instincts though. No one knows exactly how you are feeling but you.
I hope you get things figured out soon. (((HUGS))) Let us know how things go.
that doesnt sound normal at all i mean i m/c 2 times all natural not d&c required but bleeding that long not good i would either call your on call dr or go to the er something just isnt totally right good luck and let me know whats up
