Def Keep them Coming thanks guys!
yay for Lindsay! :) it so classic and elegant...no one ever gets those weirdly spelled names right, its always a hassle.
I like the spelling Leia better than Laya.....still, I voted for Lindsay....
I like Leia better. Or Leyah.
I think Laya is a little too plain.
I'm having a boy in a couple weeks, but if he were to be a girl I woulda named him Maleigha Danielle.
I think that name is so pretty.
We have a 1 year old daughter and her name is Ivy Lynn.
I think girl names are more fun to play with than boys.
We're naming our son Aiden Cole.
I dunno it just seems like boys aren't as fun as girls.
...but that's mostly cuz they got cooties.
LOL
Good luck and congrats!!
Laya sounds better to me.... What about Alaya? I like names that are different but still pretty.
'Laya' in Sanskrit means Rhythm....I like the name
Oops I clearly can't retype what I read. I meant Laya all the times I wrote Leya.
I would spell Leya a way where it looks how it sounds. I work in a peds clinic and we are ALWAYS guessing on some of these creative spellings...and for the most part we guess wrong :-) We had a Leia here and we said it as (Leah)--but it was "leya". So if you don't want to keep correcting people I would suggest making it simple--we get some parents who get quite upset if we can't figure out how to pronounce it correctly.
*We also had a dad who filled out the birth cert. and spelled the baby's name wrong-Oops :-)
I'm voting for Lindsay, I think its so pretty.
Just girly enough, but not too girly. And it
sounds smart too. I think there are soo many
"unique" names out there that a classic name now
is actually more unique.
I don't really like Layla, But thank you, And i don't mind spelling it with the E as long as no one says the E, i want the A pronounced. You guys like it better the Lindsay??
I like Layla, its kinda on the same path....................
you could always try spelling it Leya or Leia?
