BABY SHOWER FOODS!? :)

hi ladies. I'm 29 weeks & 6 days along and baby shower is next month (April 12)..and have no idea what kind of foods to have!! any suggestions?

Mine was two weeks ago. I ordered beef from a famous beef joint in my town. I bought french bread rolls. The beef came with the juices and lots of peppers and just had it in a crockpot. That was the main course along with baked mostacholi. Then there was amazzinngg ceasar salad with mozzarella cheese (it was the only thing i ate that day cuz i was anxious and too much going on.) There was a huge delicious fresh fruit salad, confetti cupcakes with pink frosting and sprinkles. In the beginning i set out salsa and guacamole with chips and then a bunch of homemade pigs in a blanket. I had some of those and got so full. There was a cooler with pops and a big punch bowl with pink punch:) (gingerale and rasberry sherbert turns it pink) then a cake i ordered that was soo cute! On it it wrote... "remember this cake when youre screaming for an epidural!"

Im having mine St. Patrick's day. We're having shredded carne with tortillas, beans, potato salad, pizza, my husbands grilling hot dogs and grilled chicken that he marinates in italian dressing mmm..im making a 7 layer dip with tortilla chips it has refried beans, sour cream mixed with taco seasoning, green onion, black olives,cheese,tomato and Im also gonna make a fruit platter in the shape of a rainbow with strawberries for red, green grapes, blueberries, cantalope and marshmallows for the clouds I'll probably have nutella for dipping im sure there will be other foods. Can you tell I love to eat? Yummy can't wait!

Mines april 5th.. planning on kipes and pastellitos, chicken pam, rollos, pasta, salad, carved fruit, van cupcakes shaped into a carriage for the theme, and gumballs, mashmallows, jellybeans, kisses, and hershey bars.

You guys are making me hungry! Lol. We're doing empanadas, potato salad, pasta salad, pulled pork with Hawaiian rolls, meatballs, salad, fruit and veggie platters & cakeee. Subject to change ayyyy all times of course lol. Whatever I'm craving that week will affect the outcome haha.

I like to have all the foods I crave or those foods that you can only get at Christmas or thanksgiving time lol its your day,  you have on the menu what YOU want to eat! Simple.  Lol

My mom has the list but off the top of my head we are having: bbq, chips, trail mix, veggie tray, fruit tray, cake, pasta salad, deviled eggs, and I am trying to convince my mom to do mac and cheese also.

My baby shower is this weekend and we are just going to have some pasta salad those pin wheel sandwiches. Veggie and fruit trays and some little oven type foods like egg rolls. Then cupcakes and Costco carrot cake! But you could always do bbq or something like that!
