They can get more painful the farther along u get especially in a second pregnancy. I started gettin them at 20 weeks and now im 32+5 and try get quite painful for me. I get them consistentlty now but just let ur.doc know if u.get more then 4 in an hour.
Luckily the surgeon wrote me some pain meds afterwards but i only took them for 2 days, i felt like my baby was going to be to drugged up! Lol but what i meant was he wouldn't write me anything before surgery, which is when i decided to drive to a bigger hospital and they admitted me and had emergency surgery the next day!
I would ask to speak with a different Dr, there are certain pain medications you can take whilst pregnant that do not have an adverse effect on you ror your baby. You shouldn't have to suffer in pain. that''s not fair. Esp after gallbaldder surgery - my mum and cousin have both had their removed and they relied on their pain meds afterwards. I only took mine as and when required as well, I didn't take them with the mildly painful ones but I did with the more severe ones x
My dr Wong write me pain needs wouldn't even write them for my gallbladder pain, which i had removed (emergency surgery) at 10 weeks!
i don't understand why he wouldn't write me something light, because i was on morphine and dilota (spelling? ) in the hospital 2 days and was told it wouldn't effect my baby... so far everything looks on with him and I'm 22+2 now
i don't feel like pain meds would hurt my baby, its not like i would constantly take it multiple times a day! I would only take it as needed...
Mine range from painless to uncomfortable to rather painful. My doctor said I should not be having more than 5 or 6 painful contractions in a day at this point.
Aw that' snot so good, can you say to your Dr to give you anything for them? I was prescribed Co-Drydamol and was assured that they wouldn't harm baby - he is here now and he hasn't had any adverse effects from me taking them x
Oh boy, lol i had them in my first pregnancy starting at 14 weeks, the drs was always catching my bh! (I had weekly appointments because i was high risk) This time they are so uncomfortable an my back hurts :(
Yeah they can be painful, I got pain meds from the hospital for mine as they were constant and painful x
