BH....How many is too many?

For the past 4 or 5 days I have been really aware of my BH. They are a lot stronger now, take my breath away, but not really painful. My entire belly gets really hard and my breathing changes. Sunday night I noticed I had 5 in an hour and but they slowly got further and further apart...thankfully! And I was sitting in the car entire time I had them. Tonight, I have had 3 exactly 10 min. apart from eachother. When should I really worry? With my son, my BH were never quite this intense and definitely VERY sporatic. I'm just a little concerned I had one at 10:18 pm...then again at 10:28 and just again at 10:38. I have been lying down the entire time and drinking water. Is it something I should be concerned about or is it pretty normal for this to happen like this? After the last one, the baby kicked me, so I know he/she is okay, but not sure why I have been getting so many recently. I am 27 weeks. Thanks for any advice.

Thanks Latrice. I *think* I have been getting enough water in the last few days. My midwife said to drink plenty of water again today and eat well. If it happens again, she is going to check me to be sure I am dilating or changing too quickly. She wants me to at least make it to 36 weeks. I want to make it to then as well.

Have you been drinking enough water over the last week.  When i had what i thought was contractions, i was dehydrated, the dr told me to write down what i had to drink in the last 4 days and to eat, my liquids did not add up to much, even though i had a lot of fluids the day of the contractions.  See what the midwife says.  I thought anything over 5 contractions in an hour you should contact dr.  Keep us informed.

It took me forever to fall asleep last night, but I eventually did and they went away. I am going to try to lay down most of today and not do much. I woke up with an awful pain in my right side...I was actually dreaming and in my dream I had the pain...and when I woke up it was actually there. Weird. I am going to probably call my midwife today and see what's up. I wonder if that's just ligament pain?

That's what my hubby asked me, but I have been drinking like crazy all day. The frequent trips to the bathroom are proof of that. ;)  and I just drank two more bottles before getting into bed and I am still having them. I've never experienced this before...hopefully it's just a fluke...

Are you drinking plenty of water? Sometimes they become more intense and close together when you're getting dehydrated.

I guess everyone is asleep....but here is a list of what I have experienced so far....I am going to shoot an e-mail to my midwife to let her know, unless they pick up.
10:18pm...10:28...10:38, 10:50, 10:57, 11:07, 11:25, 11:39, 11:48. and 12:00am...I don't know why it's happening like this. This is the first time I have had this many. No spotting, but some increased discharge...other than that, I feel okay. I have a little back pain, but not too bad. Am I worrying over nothing??
