Im sure yhu can call ur doctor & tell hym ur concerns & he'll let yhu hear ur bby heartbeat but Im sure ur bby is fine do yhu knw wat yhu r having?
Take the cream and you and baby will be fine. No need to schedule and u/s or heartbeat check but if you are worried about it you can. If you get rid of it you won't go into preterm labor causing a miscarriage at your stage of pregnancy. So treat it an baby will be just fine. Good luck sweetie .
Bv us extremely common during pregnancy...im sure yu will be fine as long as yu take the medication prescribed
I have bv and with regards to the meds they are safe providing you only use the cream and not the tablet form. You will prob find once treated it will at some stage return. I'm 24w n our baby is perfectly healthy. The cream was designed to be used in pregnancy.
Bv left untreated not only causes pre term but can have serious side effects like infection through the uterus. It's better to treat it than leave it
kk thank u! all i dont want is to miscarry
Maybe you should call your doc because you seem very concerned despite the answers given, the doc could atleast put you at ease.taking the cream to clear the infection wont hurt the baby or cause a miscarriage its just gonna clear the infection.
haha i havent had sex since the night i got prego so thats a def not gona happen no sex drive....should i book a u/s tho or go hear heartbeat or should i be ok?
No it wont cause miscarriage only preterm labor if not treated.......yhu also shld avoid having sex because it slow down healing process & yhu can give the bacteria to ur partner
The cream won't hurt your baby but not treating it will. Make sure you take all of it as directed. I never had it while pregnant but had it other times. They sometimes recommend flagal but that's not good to take while pregnant.. I couldn't ever figure out why I kept getting it, I would get it 2 weeks after treatment.. Grrrrr . Cut out suger and started taking acidophilus and I havnt gotten it since. Just a warning the cream can look pretty nasty but it's normal
im starting the cream tonight its a 7 day thing should i scedule a u/s or should i just wait for my 20 week one december 17th.....id bleed or cramp this late eh if i miscarried from this or anything else?
Oh no, the only concern is that it will get so bad that it will lead to preterm labor, the infection itself will not cause any issues with your baby. Infections are very common during pregnancy, nothing to worry about.
i just wanna know that its not to late is it?
so this shouldnt **** up my baby my fear is cuz im 16 weeks and just found out.....
Yes, it can cause preterm labor, and at this stage your baby has no chance of survival outside the womb.
yes, BV left untreated can cause preterm labor. so just make sure you use up all the medicine your supposed to to get rid of it and you should be fine
Im 36+3 now and all is wel reguardin takin the med....it really frightend me wen i read up on it so i took in the end....i was jst lyk u, i got med and had it in my hse 4 a few days b4 i took it coz i didnt really wnt 2 b insertin things up there if no need. Google it and c wot u think but if ur doc or ob gave it 2 u it should b fine 2 use. The only tym i wudnt use it is if i paid 4 it ova the counter at a chemist. 1st tym i got it doc gave me canestern that also worked....do u have the fishy smell wen u wee?? Coz thats how i knw i had bv but the strangest thing is everytym i eat fish i smell lyk 1 so iv jst cut it out 4 now and insted of usin a soap wen i wash i use femfresh ph balanced.
im not talking about the treatment im talking about bv it self....does that cause miscarriage
im sure if your OB gave it to you then its safe. i dont think they would give you anything that wasnt without discussing it first.
I did and my little girl is just fine! :)
so u had it sexond trimester and ur baby was fine?
I think if u read up on it its actually safer 2 take the 7 day cream...BV can cause pre term labour....i had it bk in my 2 trimister. I had 7 creams 1 4 each nyt (beta at nite wen ur layin dwn) the only thing i was really careful about was not insertin 2 far up.
If left untreated you could go into preterm labor, as long as you use the meds you should be fine :)
