Babies, my

I had a miscarriage on Dec 28, 2010.  It was not the simple ok it was menstral cramping and nothing more.  I had full contractions and dilated.  The contractions were on and off for at least 6 strong hours and started to mellow out after a while to 1-2 every thirty minutes.  I am wondering if anyone thinks that this was a preview of what I should expect when delivering full term.  I definitely felt incredibly worse considering what was happening and knowing I wouldnt carry my first to term.

Thank you very much for your condolences.  It was so painful i just decided that i definitely didnt want to experience it without being full term.  It was my first confirmed pregnancy so it was hard for me.

Trinity- I am so sorry you have experienced this. *HUGS* Miscarriage is definitely a bit of a preview of true labor but not to the fullest intensity. I've had miscarriages and births and full-term labor is definitely more intense. I had my last baby without pain medication and actually preferred it to the epidural births I had. Anyway I just wanted to say how sorry I am about your miscarriage and I wish you luck in conceiving and the eventual birth of a full-term healthy baby!
