getting check for dilation/thinning today
So. Im 39+3 days and im getting checked for dilation and thinning for the first time at my doctor's appt in a couple hours. I dont know why but I am so terrified. I feel like i'm not ready for this yet, even though I want nothing more than to hold my lil man. Im even more scared about the labor and delivery. Anyone else feel this way or have any advice to make things easier?
When I first got checked I was shaking afterwards I was so scared for what's to come. But after you know what your body is doing and have time to take it all in you'll get excited. I have a whole new mindset on delivering my babe now! Hopefully it will be the same for you and good luck :)
