Wow very helpful ladys thank you
A lot of times people think they're hungry but they're actually thirsty. People confuse hunger pains with thirsty pains. Drink LOTS of water. Exercising also helps maintain weight. And I agree that eating small meals all day helps maintain weight. I actually have a high metabolismI have trouble gaining weight.
If you're feeling gassy try papaya. I usually try to avoid eating at night time. Try eating smaller portions through out tge whole day also that way ur metabolism will go up
The bottom line is you need to eat when you feel hungry. The problem is during pregnancy we crave junk:/which makes it hard. A healthy pregnancy diet consists of protein, healthy carbs, whole grains, fruits and veggies. The closer your meals are together the less hungry you will feel and the less junk you will crave.
You should eat 6 small meals a day
. Example
Meal 1: oatmeal & banana
Meal 2: granola bar & strawberties
Meal 3: grilled chicken salad & whole wheat
Meal 4: fruit smoothie & crackers
Meal 5: yogurt & cookies
Meal 6: spaghetti ww/meatballs & garlic bread
Also drink a lot of milk, juice, and water
When you take your prenatal vitamin take colace stool softener. Safe for pregnancy and will help you go
You're not alone. I'm 18 weeks & I've gained about 30 pounds. I eat veggies & fruit a lot but I also have things that I crave. I eat foods with a lot of fiber so I go everyday. Try cereals & breads with fiber.
