Baby seat/carrier

So my sister found a car seat in the road. She says it was wrapped up in heavy duty bags and had a sign on saying brand new. My mum washed it and everything but I just don't want it. How do I tell them this without being ungrateful? Help?!

Tell them that you never really know what that carseat been though. if a carseat was in a accident then it has to be thrown away. it takes the safety from it. I wouldn't use it if my life depended on it. idk if it said brand new or not. that's your infant your going to be putting in there nobody else. I wouldn't trust it i'm sorry and explain that to them.

Do you have any programs where you are? Here there is a safety seat program where you can exchange used cataracts for brand new ones

Just tell them you already got one (your gonna need one at some point, they just dont need to know u dont have it yet) and tell them to keep it at your moms house for when u come visit :)

Tell them that it was nice of them to think of you buy you don't know anything about that car seat
It could have been in an accident or it could be on a recall list. What if it doesn't work properly? There's a million things that could be wrong and you don't feel safe putting your baby in it

Tell them that it may say new but your still worried about germs and we all know us soon to be mommys and already mommys worry about germs. tell them your not trying to ungrateful and hope they understand. best of luck to u.

Tell them you appreciate it, but you would prefer to buy one from a store brand new. I had to tell my in laws that after they picked up a random crib. Or you can say that you we're hoping to get a stroller/car seat combo that matches.
