Has anyone else seen the baby breathing in the womb? My side keeps going up and down, and he has the hiccups also, but I can feel him breathing?

It was like an up and down motion , he had the hiccups while doing it also and it's not the same. I'm 37 weeks.

I don't believe babies actually breath whilst they are in the womb, but they do practice the motion of breathing and yes you can see this in a ultrasound as their chest rises and falls!
Their lungs are filled with emniotic fluid and oxygen is delivered to your baby via the umbilical cord, the first proper breath happens when they are born.

I am almost 37weeks are feel hiccups all the time :)
