I've never heard that. I have aways been told that they are usually around the same size.
Not always the case. My older brother was 9lbs 2oz and I was 8lbs 10oz. Not much smaller but I was smaller.
My first was 8lb3, second was 7lb13 and third was 8lb 9. I'm only 5'3" too and had them all vaginally, the last 2 without medical intervention or stiches! Midwives always told me the heavier they are the easier it usually is as gravity helps! I was on all fours for the second and upright for the third, leyt gravity do its magic girl! You'll be just fine, my friend had her 6th baby recently and she hasnt had a single one over 8lb!
Well I guess its waiting game...and its different for everyone :) we shall see how mine works out :)
No i dont think thats always the case. My eldest was 6lb 3 and my second was only 6lb 10. I wouldnt worry to much about it
Not always...my oldest was 9lb 7oz and my youngest wad 7lbs 2oz...so far this one is measuring big.
Mine were 5 13 and my second was 6 10. So depends i guess
My first was a lil boy at 10 lb 10oz a week early. No gestational diabetes. My second was a girl 8lb 4oz a week early also. No diabetes as well. I was told the same thing after my son that the next one would be bigger I don't think it always happens that way thank goodness! I'm 21 weeks now with #3 will be interesting to see what she weighs.
My oldest was 6 lb 10 oz & my second born was 7 lbs. Not always the case that they'll be way bigger.
Not necessarily. My granny had 3, my dad being the first and he was 12 lbs even. He was the biggest. My aunt was the last amd the smallest. My uncle was right in between.
Wow 10lb :)))) thank u guys for the input! I have to be strong no matter what :)
I surely will when I have her :))) We will see soon :D Not that much time left, but it will probably drag in the end...
My sister is 5'5".. Her first was 7.14 and her second was 10.2..... And she gained less with her second. They normally do get bigger but dont fret about it. It doesnt help anything anyways but ya they do tend to get bigger with the second one. You will do fine though.
I have definitely heard they get bigger though, definitely. a LOT of people have told me that.. you'll have to let us know!
Ktowne no it not that big of an issue :) either way an u/s can be wrong... I just wanted to see everyone elses experience... If she is bigger than her sister I will. Have to deal with no other choice lol :)))) as long as she is healthy!
Everyone is different I'm the eldest of four and was bigger than my siblings, over 9 lb
Everyone is different I'm the eldest of four and was bigger than my siblings, over 9 oz
Not true for me, both my babies were 6pounders.. Now I think my lilman will be bigger than them..we will see :)
If you're really concerned, ask for an U/S to get a measurement, I'm 4'11, and always LOOK like I'm carrying huge, so my doctor suggested an U/S at the end to weight the baby, and will be with this one too. It's not exact, but it can ease your mind a little.
I guess I will see when I'm in labor lol my first was a girl, and this one it will be a girl too...with my first I gained 40 lb even, and now I'm 22 lb and I'm 34w4d... my first came at 40w1d :) We will see how things work out... can't wait! I'm hoping for a shorter labor though :)
My son was 8lbs 9.5ozs, and i didn't have gestational diabetes, I just had a big baby, planning this one natural, (first was a c-section). Your body is meant to do it, so don't go in thinking you can't do it. My friend is 4'11, and had a 10lb baby naturally, you can do it!
idk...i believe it...my first was 5.6 and she was late coming out,...now this one seems bigger!!! O_o
No ftom my experience big babies r harder my daughter came out in 2 pushes my son I pushed for n hour
In my case not true my son was 8lbs 5.6 oz 21 inches long, and my daughter was 6lbs 15oz 19.5inches long. Labor was quicker and easier the second time.
