My son was 8lbs 9.5ozs, and i didn't have gestational diabetes, I just had a big baby, planning this one natural, (first was a c-section). Your body is meant to do it, so don't go in thinking you can't do it. My friend is 4'11, and had a 10lb baby naturally, you can do it!

I guess I will see when I'm in labor lol my first was a girl, and this one it will be a girl too...with my first I gained 40 lb even, and now I'm 22 lb and I'm 34w4d... my first came at 40w1d :) We will see how things work out... can't wait! I'm hoping for a shorter labor though :)

If you're really concerned, ask for an U/S to get a measurement, I'm 4'11, and always LOOK like I'm carrying huge, so my doctor suggested an U/S at the end to weight the baby, and will be with this one too. It's not exact, but it can ease your mind a little.
