Back Labor at 35 weeks??

The past 2 nights I've woken up several times to this intense pain in my lower back.  It seems that there is just a lot of pressure and after a couple of minutes it goes away.  It is horribly painful.  I was talking to a nurse and she said that it sounds like it is back labor.... I am only 35w3d.  Anybody ever had this... and if so, when did you deliver?  Most of the stuff that I have read on the internet says that those who had the back labor this early delivered early...

Thanks

I can't believe we only have 2 weeks until we are full term....  amazing how time flies....

I don't know Roke...Some women go early and some go late, you just never really know..don't worry too much, we're almost there! Only 2 weeks until we are term.

Well I know that the baby had flipped sunny side up - as it was obvious I was getting kneed and kicked out front, instead of feeling the big lump (that I am assuming is its butt).  I only had it for those two nights and the baby seemed to flip back over again as it is back to the big lump rolling around, not just a couple of small ones and the kicks/punches.

I always had lower back pain with my 2nd daughter. And I have a lot of lower back pain with this pregnancy. I'm almost 24 weeks pregnant. I don't think I'll go into labor early or that it is back labor. Back labor is when you're actually in labor and the baby is sunny side up (their skull is grinding on your spine).

Most likely you're having sciatic pain or just plain old back pain from all the weight and pressure of your uterus and baby.
